Computer Science & Engineering

CSE LAB -1

The computer science and engineering department has a COMMUNICATION SKILLS LAB which includes about 55 systems each provided with headsets for improving the communication skills of the students in english. The STUDY SKILLS software which is installed in each system helps the students to improve the vocabulary and make them listen to conversations. Apart from this students have a lot of practical exercises to perform in system.

CSE LAB -2

The Computer Science and Engineering department has PG lab which provides extensive computing programs. This includes more than 55 high-performance computers in the range of Windows systems which mainly encourages the students for developing Data structures, Object Oriented programs for their curriculum.

CSE LAB -3

GIMP (Photoshop), Openlezo (Flash), Blender (3D max) softwares with Audio Speaker facility connected to 55 systems are made available for the students to learn Graphics & Multimedia applications. AU POWER Software made available exclusively to EEE students to run Load flow Analysis which is useful to calculate the Power and Voltage values quickly. The Power system model can be simulated.

CSE LAB -4

The Computer Science and Engineering department has RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT lab which provides extensive computing resources for research and education. This includes more than 45 high-performance computers in the range of Linux, Unix and Windows systems which mainly encourages our students for developing projects for their curriculum. This lab also acts as a simulation lab for EEE & ECE departments.

Soil Mechanics Lab

Triaxial shear test apparatus with accessories, Standard penetration apparatus with accessories, Field density test, Permeability apparatus and unconfined compression test apparatus.
Has the facility to study about the physical properties of soil.
To study about the determination of shear strength, water content, specific gravity of the soil by using direct shear test, pycnometer and core cutter method.

Strength of Materials lab

This lab is well equipped for testing structural materials including steel, timber, concrete etc., and has a 100T electronic UTM, a 200T compression testing machine and a wood testing machine. Standard tests are routinely performed for Government and Private Organization.
Has the facility to determine the compressive strength of the concrete cube by using Universal Testing Machine (UTM).

Environmental Engineering Lab

Environmental Engineering Laboratory can serve students for experimental study in 4-year Bachelor Degree Program and research activities in Master Degree Programme.
The laboratory can contribute its pilot study facilities and chemical analytical equipment as well as experimental technology to the environmental studies and continuing learning in the environmental professions.
Has the facility to study the oxygen demand in water by using incubators and chemicals.

Transportation Engineering Lab

The experimental work involved in this laboratory should make the student to understand the fundamental testing of aggregate and also the bitumen. Relating these quantities, the student should be able to obtain the strength of the material.
To study about the abrasion value, crushing strength and impact value of the aggregates.

At the end of this course the student should be able to draft on computer building drawings (Plan, elevation and sectional views) in accordance with development and control rules satisfying orientation and functional requirements

Hydraulics Lab

The Hydraulics Laboratory involved in a wide range of basic as well as applied experimental and theoretical research in fluid mechanics.
The activities are focused on the physical understanding, modeling and manipulation of complex flows and their instabilities.
The main objective of this laboratory is the Student should be able to verify the principles studied in theory by conducting the experiments.

Chemistry Lab

The chemistry laboratory is spacious with an area of 1723sq.feet. It has eight working tables with necessary gas supply connection in each table. At a time, thirty two students can perform the experiments. Required chemicals, glassware and other items are available in the lab, purchased from reliable suppliers.

There are sophisticated digital instruments like Flame Photometer, Spectrophotometer, pH meters, Potentiometers and Conductivity meters for quantitative assay. A deionised water treatment plant is also available for producing deionised water for preparing solutions.

It is aimed to impart good experimental skills to the I year B.E / B.Tech students of all branches of the college.

Physics Lab

The Physics laboratory caters to the need of scientific pursuits and is well equipped with modern infrastructure, comparable to the best in any educational institution.

Sophisticated equipments like interferometer, photography and dark room facilities are added advantages.
